Redesign of the Decks Our main focus was to create a functional space. We are happy to inform you that Salt & Water won “MYDA 2015– Millennium Yacht Design Award”. The award was given to us for the project of the Floating Hotel with Catamaran Apartments. With this design, we participated in the “Dream Boat” category. The event took place at the SEATEC exhibition in Carrara, Italy. The jury described our project as “an elegant interpretation and enhancement of a houseboat in an intelligent housing solution. Maximum utilization of the interior layout.”

The whole concept originated from an idea to follow the morphology of Montenegrin coastal towns. Designed facilities developed onto inherited matrix by grouping new objects to create many small intimate squares with environmental quality that is characteristic of this region. Although each square is a separate ambient, they are mutually connected with the paved stone path running through the whole area. It spills over objects linking them into a unique continuous whole. This way pedestrians are directed to go seamlessly through space, revealing new squares, places for rest, leisure, recreation and interesting viewpoints. Find the project in our portfolio.

The end of 2014 was brightened up with the award for the best start-up. The prize was handed to the owner Svetlana Mojić by the B-WCo Balkan Women Coalition in Thessaloniki in November 2014. Leone di Venezia is a daysailer primarily designed for weekend sailing trips and regattas. Thanks to its lifting keel and lifting rudder this yacht can sail through shallow waters such as Venetian lagoon. The exterior design of the daysailer is inspired by the most famous symbol of Venice, a strong, fast, and fearsome competitor– The Venetian lion.

The interior design concept for the private plane Boeing 787 VIP Dreamliner, which we created in a collaboration with VIP Completions Ltd. was declared as the best interior design project by the International Yachts & Aviation Awards 2014. It is a great honor for us to have our design recognized as the best in its category, primarily because of the high quality of the other projects submitted in the competition. Start Hub project is the interior design solution we provided for a business hub in the heart of Dubai. Association of Business Women in Serbia presented a special award to Svetlana Mojić owner of Salt & Water Novi Sad for innovative entrepreneurship “Success Flower for a Dragon Woman 2013”. We are pleased that our efforts have been recognized and we already have a lot of new projects in the plan.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the well-known Novi Sad café, the owners decided to freshen up the interior a little bit. The renovation concept was to maintain the existing wooden structure with stained glass since it is a recognizable part of the object’s image. While keeping this, the new design introduces a bright color palette. Both furniture and wallpaper were chosen to create a pleasant atmosphere with a contemporary feel.

We are very proud of our first venture in the world of air industry. Due to the trust of our client we got opportunity to design the interior of the private jet Airbus A340 and come up with a pattern that will decorate exterior.
