Every interior renovation, even of this river yacht, requires starting with a clean slate – in this case, it was necessary to remove everything from the saloon.
The vessel’s hull was thoroughly cleaned, and old paneling, existing insulation, and outdated electrical cables were removed. Even the engine was replaced with a new one, tailored to fit this vessel.
Cleaning and Preparing the Hull
The empty hull resembles a blank sheet of paper, offering a fantastic opportunity for a fresh start. With such old interiors, for which there is no comprehensive documentation of all the changes that occurred over time, one can be surprised by pleasant or unpleasant discoveries as hidden information is revealed by removing elements installed from above.

Initial Renovation Steps
The initial steps in the renovation of this river yacht involved installing new thermal insulation and creating a new interior framework, as well as running newly designed electrical cables.
Next, the installation of new wall and ceiling coverings followed, along with the chosen floor coverings. Each material was carefully selected to ensure the space is both functional and visually appealing.
A particularly demanding step was choosing the final finish for the furniture elements on the deck.
