This is what we learned from the visit to the Tarkett Academy

Behind the scene

Last week we had the tremendous pleasure of visiting Tarkett Academy in Bačka Palanka, a learning facility attached to the groundbreaking flooring manufacturer who goes by the same name.

As stated on their website, Tarkett Academy is a center for training and education, whose mission is to develop and improve installation techniques for Tarkett flooring, as well as to spread the knowledge of their products. Tarkett floors really are exceptional and the company is known for the great quality and appealing aesthetics. Therefore – needless to say – our expectations of this seminar were very high. Luckily for us, they were followed by informative lectures and an overall wonderful visit. Even the food was great!

Svetlana was impressed with the textile flooring palette Tarkett is offering.

We went there to examine the differences between their flooring products and ended up having a fun time while learning how to persuade clients to choose wisely, instead of choosing cheap. We have also learned that the main reason for the Tarkett`s success lies in their respect towards the wood and other natural materials we use on an everyday basis.

At Tarkett, they like to say they design their products according to the taste and the needs of clients. This is something that we at Salt & Water truly understand and try to follow up with every project we take.

Have problems choosing the right flooring surface? Well, you should come to Bačka Palanka.

Tarkett frequently organizes flooring installation training courses for professional workers and amateurs. This is a great way to get a certificate that guarantees the quality of service – something that all workers should strive for.

We truly appreciate this experience. When it comes to flooring design, it has motivated us to master our techniques. So far we had a wonderful collaboration with Tarkett and their Flooring Gallery and we are eager to find out what else we can learn from them.

And did we get to mention the food was great?! Till we meet again…
