Before we start counting the seconds to the beginning of hardly anticipated 2017, let’s see what we left behind in the year that passed. For us, this year was, by all means, lucrative, so we’d like to share some of our success stories with you.

The year officially started with great news. Our studio has been awarded for the special initiative in entrepreneurship by the international forum Perspektive. Svetlana went to Croatia to pick up the award.

April was dedicated to sleek design. Our office went to Milan to attend the famous Salone del Mobile where we even found our own project! Find more about how that went in this blog post.

For years now, our wonderful partners from The Association of Business Women in Serbia have been organizing promotional events for The International Girls Day. This is something they do each year, and this time, we also took part in encouraging young women to pursue their dreams. As a company run by a strong female lead, we understand how important it is to support future female professionals from the early beginning.

One of our older projects of the sustainable eco-barge has gained a little media attention this past spring. The sudden popularity was a wonderful surprise, especially this article from Inhabitat.

Spring ’16  ended with yet another award. This time, it was an honorable mention at the international competition for a façade design in Subotica. It is safe to say we were blown away with the result.

In July, Salt & Water was declared National Winner at the Creative Business Cup. Thanks to this recognition, we had the opportunity to present our Catamaran Apartment project in Copenhagen in front of an international jury.

As soon as the summer break ended, we celebrated our 5th birthday. So, we thought to inception this a little bit and put a recap within a recap.

Last but not least, somewhere along the way we came out with a design of a Foldable Tiny House. The reception for this concept was amazing, once again we found our design in some of the most influential design magazines and we are now counting orders.

We hope that 2017 will be as exciting as the year we leave behind.
