A beautiful canal flows through Vrbas municipality. Its shores are the untapped potential of the neighborhood.
Our assignment was to design the shores so people could enjoy being by the water. Besides volleyball and basketball courts, we designed a children’s playground and an outdoor gym. We added a modern promenade and a bike path as well.
There are wooden platforms for fishing, sunbathing, and socializing on the water. Modern-designed urban furniture is distributed along the entire length of the promenade.
At the very end of the promenade, the popular sandy beach Šlajz has been redesigned and revitalized. The youngest will be able to enjoy the floating pool for non-swimmers.
The whole project is designed to fit perfectly into the surrounding nature. Everything is in neutral colors and there is plenty of wood treated for outdoor use.
