The application of smart technology in gardening refers primarily to the automated sprinklers designed to take a huge load off your back and ease your everyday work in the garden. In other words, by installing a new generation of sprinklers, you will no longer have to bother with watering. Whatsoever, the consumption of water will be limited, considering that is the primary purpose of these devices. Modern sprayers are not automated by the hour, but when necessary. The right time for watering is predicted thanks to information gathered from the soil, which is a significant relief and is good for plants. All technology from the Click and Grow family is based on data collected from the ground like the level of moisture. The more advanced devices also measure nutritional values of soil, temperature, as well as the climatic and lighting conditions in the garden. Automated mowers are also an interesting option. They work in a similar way to the smart vacuum cleaners we recently mentioned by moving independently on the lawn and doing this boring job instead of you. The technology behind smart lawn mowers is based on a similar principle as the electric dog collars, so moving away from predetermined parameters is not allowed.
Having a pool brings relief and happiness to many. But believe us when we say that the experience is even better when the pool has smart features. Numerous companies, some of which work in our region, are specialized in the installation of wellness and countercurrent swimming pools, to help you get in shape before the season. These type of pools usually have a multiple filtration system, a water heating (so you can use it all year long), an automated coverage, a remote control and underwater lighting. Of course, if you prefer just laying around doing nothing, a spa option is also available. If we have learned anything so far, that is the smart technology is being adapted not only to your needs but also to your character.
When it comes to the garage automation, the first thing that comes to everybody’s mind (besides the smart lighting) is the automated doors. Although this advantage is of an older date, it is still our favorite. A novelty in this regard is the door sensor that can be connected to a device in your car. Therefore, they begin to open themselves after your arrival, without additional intervention.
We have already mentioned that the smart lighting can be adjusted by following the appropriate “scenarios” designed to ease the everyday tasks. Whether the lights are being adjusted to get the right atmosphere, to light up a barbecue or swimming pool area, they have both decorative and security purposes. For example, the automated lighting is activated by sensors that register motion so you can know that someone is close to your home. The lights turn off a few minutes after the last registered movement. Likewise, the LED pool lighting provides the better experience during the night swimming, and small bulbs tactically positioned in its vicinity will prevent someone from falling into the pool. Ideally, the basic scenario will always be active, while the other scenes can be adjusted with simple options via the smart device of your choice.
